USC and Yahoo labs scanned 16
billion emails and found that it takes men four minutes longer to respond to an
email than it takes women.
Men average 28 minutes to respond while women take 24 minutes. Emails sent by women are also two words longer.
Teens respond the fastest -- within 13 minutes. However, their emails are shorter compared to older adults.
All age groups respond faster during weekday work hours.
